Niantic has just announced the next Pokémon GO Global Challenge, linked to the summer GO Fests in Chicago, Dortmund and Yokohama.
Trainers from all around the world will complete a huge number of quests together to unlock bonuses, and esepecially Entei, Suicune and Raikou in Shiny Form. We already know the specific quests linked to each Fest.
Pokémon GO Fest Chicago
June 13–16
- For attendees: Complete 1 million Field Research tasks to unlock a 2x Bonus on Candy
- Team Instinct (Yellow): complete 15 million Field Research tasks globally to unlock one Rare Candy per Raid guaranteed.
- Team Valor (Red): complete 15 million Field Research tasks globally to unlock a half-distance bonus to hatching Eggs.
- Team Mystic (Blue): complete 15 million Field Research tasks globally to unlock a 2x bonus to Candy when hatching Eggs.
Bonuses will last from June 18–25. Later, Raids may host Raikou, who will be available in Shiny Form.
Pokémon GO Dortmund Fest
July4–7
- For attendees: complete 1 million Field Research tasks to unlock a 3x bonus to XP.
- Team Instinct (Yellow): complete 15 million Field Research tasks globally to unlock 1-hour Lucky Eggs.
- Team Valor (Red): complete 15 million Field Research tasks globally to unlock an XP bonus to hatching Eggs.
- Team Mystic (Blue): complete 15 million Field Research tasks globally to unlock an XP bonus to Raids.
Bonuses will last from July 9–16. On July 14, Raids may host a standard or Shiny Entei.
Pokémon GO Yokohama Fest
August 5-12
- For attendees: complete 2 million Field Research tasks to unlock a 3x Stardust bonus.
- Team Instinct (Yellow): complete 25 million Field Research tasks globally to unlock 3,000 Stardust per Raid.
- Team Valor (Red): complete 25 million Field Research tasks globally to unlock 3x Stardust when hatching Eggs.
- Team Mystic (Blue): complete 25 million Field Research tasks globally to unlock 1-hour Star Pieces.
Bonuses will last from August 13–20. On August 17, Raids may host standard or Shiny Suicune.
