League of Legends jungler Lucas "Santorin" Larssen is reportedly joining Team Liquid's League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) squad, according to independent journalist Travis Gafford. The rumor further gained traction as Jacob Wolf's sources echoed the same sentiment on Nov. 15, one day after Gafford's post.

Following the move, Team Liquid's offseason would be over bar surprises. The team has reportedly secured a deal with Origen's top laner, Barney "Alphari" Morris, has prolonged Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen's tenure by three years, and has retained the services of their bot laners, Edward "Tactical" Ra and Jo "CoreJJ" Yong-in.

Santorin was the strongest available jungler in free agency at the time following his best season on a competitive level to date. Alongside mid laner Tristan "PowerOfEvil" Schrage and support Lee "IgNar" Dong-geun, he reached the LCS finals twice, finishing in second both times. Although FlyQuest's subsequent World Championship run ended in the group stage, they had a respectable 3:3 record, their elimination coming down to their inability to beat LCK's second-place team DRX.

In addition, Team Liquid recently posted updates regarding its coaching staff as they announced the arrivals of former Origen jungler Jonas "Kold" Andersen as their assistant coach alongside Joshua "Jatt" Leesman, and Australian shoutcaster and front office Jake "Spawn" Tiberi as their academy coach.

Santorin's move would deal a significant blow to FlyQuest, who would be reeling from the departures of two players, and with IgNar's status uncertain at the time of writing. In that case, Top laner Colin "Solo" Earnest and AD carry Jason "WildTurtle" Tran would be the sole remaining members of the roster.
