It wouldn't be a Black Ops game without the inclusion of Nuketown!
Black Ops Cold War will be no different, as Nuketown '84 arrives on November 24th. The iconic Black Ops map has been present in all five Black Ops titles and is certainly one of the most iconic multiplayer maps in the entire franchise.
Nuketown has received an 80s makeover to coincide with the Cold War setting of the game.
In this article, find out everything that you need to know about the classic map.
Release Time
Nuketown '84 will be launching at 10AM PT worldwide across all platforms.
This is the first free piece of post-launch content since the game released on November 13th
Playlists
For those that want to get stuck into the chaotic, high-octane gameplay on Nuketown '84, a Nuketown 24/7 playlist will go live.
It will feature a range of game modes but more importantly, it will feature an unlimited dose of Nuketown action!
Double XP and Double Weapon XP
To celebrate the return of Nuketown, Treyarch has confirmed the second period of Double XP since the launch of the game.
Double XP and Double Weapon XP will be live across all modes from November 24th and will run all the way until November 30th. Plenty of time to reach the maximum level before Season 1 begins on December 10th!
Map Layout
There have been no changes made to the layout of the map. Two houses at opposite ends of the map overlook the central area along with the left and right flanks.
The middle is blocked off by a school bus and a truck which can be accessed.
The far left side of the map features a car which can be used for cover and on the right, a car is placed to offer some form of resistance from the right-hand alley running down the side of the green house.
