In the first three weeks, players seem to be bored of seeing the same maps over and over again in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. With a total of 9 Quick Play maps, 3 Combined Arms maps, and 2 Fireteam maps, even Dr. Disrespect has called on Treyarch to add some more maps.
In addition, the rotation of these maps is not balanced and players often see the same maps. Do map votes have an impact on which maps appear next? This might be the case as players have began to notice that the same maps appear more regularly than others. The likes of Cartel, Armada, Nuketown and Crossroads appear much more frequently than the likes of Miami and Garrison.
With the launch of Season One just around the corner, players can expect a huge increase in map variety in the not too distant future.
According to various sources, there will be a total of four maps arriving during the course of the season.
Dr Disrespect gives his opinion on the maps
The Doc is not shy of offering his opinion. DrDisrespect has conceptualized maps for Advanced Warfare - and brings some expertise in his words.
DrDisrespect claims that Treyarch should have put at least 15 maps for the launch of the game. At launch, just 11 maps were included in multiplayer. (Excluding Armada Strike and Crossroads Strike)
Leaker TheGhostOfMW2 has uncovered 4 new maps are expected to arrive during Season One.
Players are eagerly awaiting the first wave of post-launch content, which includes Black Ops Cold War's integration into Warzone.
Season One for Black Ops Cold War begins on December 10th.
