Activision and Infinity Ward has released the first trailer for the new season of Warzone.
The short trailer shows a sneak peek at the new Rebirth Island map that is arriving in the battle royale on December 16th.
Rebirth Island is a Soviet Nova 6 production facility and appears to be much smaller than Verdansk.
Considering that its name is Rebirth Island, could the map pave the way for a brand-new, large-scale map in future seasons?
The trailer features slides that go very quickly from one shot to another, revealing an island that lends itself to many close-quarters opportunities.
Confirmed Season 1 Items
- 2 Operators via the in-game store arriving on December 16th
- 1 Operator who was featured in the Black Ops Cold War Season 1 trailer
- 3 new weapons found by CODTracker - the Groza assault rifle, the Mac-10 submachine gun as well as the Streetsweeper shotgun
Operation Rebirth appears to be a completely separate mode, with a map dedicated to it. It will be some time before Verdansk's replacement is added to Warzone.
The addition of the Juggernaut to Warzone has been a hot topic of conversation among the community. Players have managed to find a glitch which sees 14 Juggernauts on the map at the same time!
