Kanezaka is therefore the 29th map of the upcoming game to expand the already large pool of Overwatch maps. Intended for the death fighting game modes, it therefore joins the Black Forest, Ecolab: Antarctica, Necropolis, Castillo, Château Guillard, Eichenwalde, King's Row and Petra in the family of Deathmatch maps.
This new map with a Japanese design and a picturesque landscape is apparently located right next to Hanamura. If you pay attention you should see Hanamura Castle on a hill in the distance.
Kanezaka is available now on the PTR, its release on live servers is scheduled for early 2021, around mid-January.

The cats in the Cat Cafe are apparently all inspired by members of the Overwatch development team, will we easily find Jeff Kaplan's one?
The latter also seems to tell us that many Easter eggs are hidden all over Kanezaka, some of which would be on the future lore of Overwatch. So keep your eyes open!
