GeT_RiGhT set to move over to VALORANT

At 30 years of age, Counter-Strike legend Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund appears to be coming out of 'retirement' to compete in VALORANT.

GeT_RiGhT set to move over to VALORANT

Just a few months ago, Counter-Strike star Christopher" GeT_RiGhT" Alesund put an end to his stay at Dignitas. Alluding to health and next steps, it seemed like the retirement of one of the legends of the game.

However, it seems like that wasn't the case — an elaborate 56-second video posted to his personal Twitter account concluded with a VALORANT logo clearly on displayed, set to the opening bars of Don't Stop Believin' by Journey.

At the moment, we don't know what role GeT_RiGhT will occupy in VALORANT, although it would continue the trend of professional CS:GO and Overwatch players alike moving over to Riot's game.

Just this week, Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans announced a move to Ninjas in Pijamas. The org currently has five players on its books, so it doesn't seem like a viable destination for Aelsund.

However, given we're in the middle of the transfer period before the 2021 season begins, anything could happen.
