There will be no prize money up for grabs.
Atlanta Home Series Key Matches
With a total of ten matches taking place over the course of the weekend, we take a look at some of the contests that have the potential to be extremely competitive.
Los Angeles Guerrillas v Paris Legion - Day 3
Both Guerrillas and Legion looked impressive during the Kickoff Classic and have the potential to put on an incredible show to kick off the third day of the event.
Armed with three world champions on its roster, the LA Guerrillas are intent on reversing the fortunes of last season by scoring some early points on the board, as are a new-look Paris roster that also showed glimmers of brilliance during their pre-season match.
With this match finely balanced, it's going to take one stroke of genius to secure the win.
London Royal Ravens v Seattle Surge - Day 4
The London Royal Ravens has one of the hardest stages in terms of outright competition. The franchise plays New York and Dallas in Week 2, followed by the LA Thieves and Minnesota in Week 3 but before then, they must take on the Seattle Surge.
After a disappointing 2020, the Surge rebuilt its roster around superstar assault rifle player Sam "Octane" Larew and it's likely that his performance will be the key to victory. If he can get the upper hand over Sean "Seany" O'Connor, there is a chance for the Surge to begin the season on the front foot.
If the Royal Ravens fall to Seattle, it could be a very difficult first stage.
Atlanta FaZe v OpTic Chicago - Day 4
Rounding off the Atlanta Home Series will see the FaZe do battle with OpTic Chicago, a powerhouse roster that has looked like championship contenders in online practice.
While the Green Wall look to have rebuilt, the FaZe has a good opportunity to send the wall crumbling down with a victory. The battle between the sub-machine slaying partnerships of Chris "Simp" Lehr, Tyler "aBeZy" Pharris, Brandon "Dashy" Otell, and Dylan "Envoy" Hannon are going to be the difference makers in this particular match.
If the tiny terrors can content with the ruthless speed and aggression of OpTic, this has all the makings of a five-game thriller.
