New Points of Interest
According to Activision's Season 2 blog post, there will be several new points of interest arriving to Verdansk.
"Although other reports on these new locales are still classified, we’d advise to explore these areas at your own risk."
Current rumors suggest that several missile silos will be able to be explored. Is the destruction of Verdansk imminent?
New Game Modes
Exfiltration
Exfiltration is a brand-new take on battle royale.
At some point during a match, a radio comes online in an undisclosed location of Verdansk. The player that manages to hold onto it for a specific period of time will automatically win the match.
Any player that holds the radio is marked on the map, meaning that it will be a tricky task to hold onto it.
If players are unable to hold onto the radio, the last team or player standing will win.
Rebirth Island Resurgence Extreme
Resurgence mode is taken to the next level for Season Two. Taking place on Rebirth Island, a maximum of 90 players will drop into the map for a frantic fight for victory.
Like the standard Resurgence mode, players will be able to spawn back into the action if the countdown has hit zero and one of their teammates are still alive. Specific items found around the map will give players the ability to refresh their items regularly to keep in the fight.
