Ahead of the launch of Season Two for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, challenges have emerged revealing that hordes of the undead could be making their way into Verdansk.
While it may come as a surprise to some, the Season Two roadmap does reveal details on an in-game event named Zombies Outbreak.
Here's everything we know about the challenges and when players can expect Zombies to appear in the battle royale.
First reported by Dexerto, it seems that there are three challenges where the goal is to eliminate Zombies as opposed to human opponents.
- In Warzone, eliminate 8 zombies before the first circle closes.
- In Warzone, rapidly kill two or more zombies twice.
- In Warzone, use a shotgun to kill 8 zombies.
The rewards for completing the challenges are Calling Cards that can be used in Black Ops Cold War.

Zombies Outbreak Event
Beginning on February 25h until March 11th, the Zombies Outbreak Challenge event spans across both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
The event is likely to see the undead make their way to Verdansk, after various Zombies machines were found across the map.
With these challenges for Warzone discovered jut a few hours before the start of the new season, the likelihood of Zombies making their way into Warzone is extremely high, but based off the dates of the event, they will only be there for a limited-time.
