New voices are joining the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) broadcast this weekend. British casters Ceirnan "Excoundrel" Lowe and Dan "Foxdrop" Wyatt will be dialing in from their homes to cast a few clashes of the European teams together.
Both Excoundrel and Foxdrop have been around for a long time in the League of Legends industry. Most recently, they've been part of the broadcast for the Northern League Championship, which hosts teams from the United Kingdom and Scandinavia.
It won't be the first time the LEC has used dial-in calls to cover all the action in the league. Post-game interviewer Laure Valée has been working from the LFL studio in France this whole Split, due to her being unable to travel to Germany following the COVID-19 resrictions.
Other voices have joined the show too: T1 content creator and former LCK caster Nick "LS" De Cesare joined the analyst desk in week four of the competition. Interviewer Ashley Kang dialed in last weekend from South Korea—and will do so once again this upcoming weekend—to do the post-game interviews.
