Wild Rift 2.1b Patch Notes released

The stars have aligned, and Wild Rift will be welcoming three of Targon's champions on the new patch; due to roll out March 15.

Leona, the Radiant Dawn, will be joining the roster. The holy warrior of the Solari is full of crowd control, perfect for a playmaking support player; will you be picking her up?

Diana, the Scorn of the Moon, represents the opposite of Leona. One is the Chosen of the Sun, while the other is the Chosen of the Moon; friends who find themselves on opposite sides of the coin. Will you let the power of the Moon take control?

Pantheon, the Unbreakable Spear, also makes his arrival. The Aspect of War will have you shouting 'This is Sparta' as you metaphorically kick your opponents into the grey screen.

These champions will appear later in the patch, this will be supported by the Path of Ascension event.

Some of the larger balance changes are focused on Towers.

The Backdoor Bonus is having the tower damage reduction stabilised throughout the game; staying at 66% reduced damage the whole game instead of the lowering to 33% reduced damage at 18 minutes.

Lane swaps are also being answered. The solo lane towers are gaining a bonus 90 Armour and Magic Resist for the first 3 minutes of the game, whilst the duo lane will be gaining 40 Armour/Magic Resist.

In addition, the towers will also gain defensive bonuses depending on how many enemies are nearby during the first 3 minutes. They will gain 10 Armour/Magic Resist if two champions are nearby, 100 for three champions, and increasing by 100 for each champion more. That is 300 bonus Armour and Magic Resist for towers if five champions are nearby.

Ziggs is also gaining changes, as he was destroying towers too quickly; so his Satchel Charge's tower-destroy threshold is being lowered by 5% each level.

Yasuo is having some of his base defensive stats lowered, making him easier to punish in the early game, while Aurelion Sol is having his passive damage reduced at early levels.

For buffs, Soraka is having her healing increased and having the Equinox cooldown reduced; turning her into the healer and silencer she was made to be. The other buff is Tristana, who is being rewarded for early aggression with an increased slow duration from her Rocket Jump.

And that is the summary for Wild Rift's 2.1b patch!

Pantheon gets graphical update before Wild Rift release

Following a raft of changes to Pantheon's model ahead of his debut in Wild Rift, Riot have reacted to community sentiment with some adjustments.
