A new report suggests that Microsoft may be buying Discord for over $10 billion – Bloomberg reported that no deal was imminent yet, and another source said that Discord may want to go public.
Bloomberg’s intelligence analyst Matthew Kanterman said “Microsoft possibly acquiring Discord makes a lot of sense as it continues to reshape its gaming business more toward software and services”.
Microsoft recently acquired ZeniMax, the parent company of Bethesda.
