The mid-season update for Black Ops Cold War is right around the corner and will see the launch of a variety of content arriving in the game.
While new Operators, weapons, and maps will make their debut, a lot of focus is on the next wave of weapon balancing that will take place as part of the update releasing on March 31st.
To celebrate the launch of Season 2 Reloaded, Treyarch has revealed details on a Double XP weekend which is the perfect opportunity to level up weapons, the Battle Pass, and Season Rank.
Alongside the Double XP weekend, Warzone developer Raven Software has also revealed that yet another wave of bans has taken place in its ongoing fight against cheaters in the battle royale.
Black Ops Cold War Double XP Weekend
The upcoming Double XP weekend will begin on March 26th at 10AM PT and will run until March 29th at 10AM PT.
Warzone Ban Wave
Cheaters have been a prominent issue within Warzone for several months and with no dedicated anti-cheat software, Raven Software is doing its best to clamp down on the issue by issuing waves of bans on a regular basis.
The latest ban wave took place on March 23rd and saw another 13,000 Warzone accounts permanently banned
The constant waves of bans are certainly a positive, but a dedicated anti-cheat would do a much better job in dealing with cheaters on a more regular basis.
