As Warzone prepares for its epic in-game event to usher in a brand-new map set in the 1980s, data miners have discovered the opening cinematics for Season 3, showcasing the next chapter in the ongoing conflict between Adler and Soviet fugitive Stitch.
The trailer shows the elite group of operatives exploring Stitch's Laos hideout before coming to the conclusion that there is no threat from the deadly Nova 6 gas.
On the wall is a map of Verdansk, and is the first look at the reworked map and judging from the video, it appears that minimal changes have been made.
Once the operatives determine Adler's location, they climb aboard the helicopters once again and begin the journey to Verdansk before the screen fades to black.
Warzone Season 3 Start Date
The new season for the battle royale will begin on April 22nd with a wave of brand-new content expected to release alongside the new iteration of Verdansk.
The new map will be revealed 24 hours prior to the start of the season through an in-game event known as "The Destruction of Verdansk."
