The League of Legends is undergoing a change in one of its key positions. Mark Yetter, also known by his nickname Scruffy, will be stepping down from his role as Gameplay Design Director to join Riot Games' future MMO development team as Game Director.
The change will come in June, with Riot Games accepting applications for a replacement.
However, players shouldn't notice any major changes once he leaves League of Legends. While Riot are working on the transition, Yetter has moved to reassure fans about his trust in the management team and the future of the game. In addition, he believes that we can expect "the same transparency, quality, and openness" as ever.
With this move, Yetter joins former World of Warcraft head Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street at the top of the MMO's development team.
No new information has been imparted on the League of Legends MMO, but it certainly won't be released anytime soon.
