Season 3 of Warzone is about to reach the halfway stage and as Activision and Raven Software continues to combat cheaters within the popular battle royale, players are still encountering hackers using a range of techniques to gain an unfair advantage over the opposition.
With hundreds of thousands of players already banned from Warzone due to cheating, some are still slipping through the net, much to the annoyance of players who continue to request a dedicated anti-cheat for the game.
In order to evade the ban hammer, some hackers are resorting to new methods. Some of which include shooting at the floor while still scoring kills.
Warzone Hackers Shooting At Ground To Avoid Ban
In a recent broadcast, Warzone streamer RayTheGreat encountered a hacker eliminating him and his teammates by firing their weapon at the ground rather than locking onto them using some kind of aimbot.
Clearly confused as to how he was eliminated from the match, the streamer watched the killcam to see the player shooting at the floor while dealing damage to the player.
RayTheGreat quickly called upon Activision and Raven Software to deal with players performing this exploit, but it's unclear as to whether Warzone's publisher and developer have actually implemented any kind of prevention in order to avoid the issue happening to other players.
