Although we already knew that The Witcher Season 2 would be released by the end of the year, we now have confirmation of its release date.
Jaskier, Geralt, Ciri, Yennefer and co. will be back on Netflix for a batch of new episodes at the back end of this year.
While we weren't treated to a new trailer, we did get a handful of images and interviews with some of the cast as part of WitcherCon 2021.
When will The Witcher Season 2 be released?
The sequel to The Witcher Season 1 is scheduled for release on December 17, 2021 on Netflix.
The titles of the episodes were also revealed, with the official Twitter account for the show inviting us to theorize about their contents.

- Episode 1: A Grain of Truth
- Episode 2: Kaer Morhen
- Episode 3: What is Lost
- Episode 4: Redanian Intelligence
- Episode 5: Turn Your Back
- Episode 6: Dear Friend
- Episode 7: Voleth Meir
The last episode is 'top secret', with no title revealed. Season 2 will have a total of eight episodes, just as the first.
In addition to these titles, several exclusive new images were also revealed.
The first shows Ciri training with Lambert, while the second shows Jaskier in the middle of a...rock concert?
With Season 2 five months away, that's plenty time to rewatch Season 1 *and* play the excellent Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!
