LoL - Rengar will be the next champion updated by Riot: These will be his changes

There may not have been a second full rework to a League of Legends champion  in 2021, but Riot has instead been dedicated to carrying out medium-scale changes to many champions.

Akali, Xin Zhao and Sona have all received gamplay updates, and the next will follow very soon.

Rengar, the next champion to get an update

Rengar will receive a significant gameplay update, with important changes to his passive and additions to two of his abilities.

The intention with these adjustments is to make him more accessible to players at a lower elo, while eliminating some of his glaring weaknesses.

The expected changes for Rengar are as follows:

Passive - Unseen Predator

No cooldown

Maximum Ferocity Stacks reduced from 4 to 3

[MODIFIED] Jump no longer generates a stack when you have zero

Ferocity drop-off out of combat increases from 8 seconds to 10 seconds

Bonus movement speed duration with empowered cast increased from 1.5 to 3 seconds

Bonus Movement speed bonus with empowered cast reduced from 30/40/50% to 20/25/30%

The forgiveness timer on Bonetooth Necklace increased from 1.5 seconds to 3 seconds.

W - Battle Roar

No change to cooldown

No change to damage

[MODIFIED] Uncharged no longer regenerates gray health on activation

[NEW] Grants Rengar 10 Armor and Magic Resistance, increased by 50% per additional champion or large monster hit.

Max Ferocitty: Increases damage (unchanged) and heals Rengar by 50-337 health, increased by 50% per additional champion or monster hit.

E - Bola Strike

No change to cooldown

No change to damage

[NEW] No cast time during leap

[NEW] Reveals enemies for two seconds

While Riot are usually hesitant to carry out major changes to champions in the patches directly preceding major competitions, it seems that they in fact do plan changes to several champions this time round -- perhaps to those deemed outside the Worlds meta.

Thanks to this, we can expect a somewhat more eventful League of Legends in the final quarter of the season, before preparations for 2022 begin.

Many League of Legends players have been calling for the return of animated splash art, but Riot Games abandoned the tradition years ago. However, you can find them on one region's server.
