We don't speak a word of Mandarin and we are not even sure if the source is reliable or not... But the rumor is still too big to ignore it completely: FPX has reportedly set out to completely rebuild its team after this year's failure at the Worlds of League of Legends. According to this rumor, all the players would be leaving and that would mean that Doinb and Nuguri, the two Korean stars, would be on the market. These two former world champions should almost immediatly find a new home in China, Korea or even in the rest of the world.
Obviously, Lxw , Crisp and Tian are also former world champions. But their profile seems less interesting and apart from China, they should not be targetted by so much teams.
The rumor is from China and was translated by @cutebchu. There is currently no official communication and we will have to wait to find out more. If we are to believe the rumors on Weibo:
- Lxw and Crisp : their contract runs until 2022 but they could be transferred by the team.
- Doinb and Nuguri : their contracts end and are authorized to negotiate with other teams. An LCK team has reportedly already taken a position on the toplaner. The two headliners could still extend but a departure is not to be excluded.
- Tian : No news for the jungler, who could take another break after his health concerns.
Everything remains very vague in this story... But we promise to keep your eyes open to follow the evolution of FPX and the possible new destinations of Doinb and Nuguri .
