Dramas aren't new to League of Legends, but this one seems particularly shocking. An LPL allegedly tried to poison his own team after someone stole his water.

LoL: Did an LPL player try to poison their team?

A dirty business is making headlines right now within the Chinese League of Legends community. According to the allegations of his ex-girlfriend, Tang " huanfeng " Huan-Feng, ADC for Weibo Gaming, but above all a Worlds 2020 finalist with Suning , would have tried to poison his former team... for a simple story of stolen water.

From light to scandal

Huanfeng's story is special. Starting from nothing, he was able to rise among the best players in his region, and command respect thanks to his career which led him to the final of the 2020 World Championships (final lost not to DAMWON Gaming).

At the end of 2020, a first scandal against him broke out. Accused by his ex-girlfriend of having cheated on her during the Worlds – she then posted a message on Chinese social networks as well as photos showing the players flirting with others – the ADC had decided not to participate at the 2020 LPL All-Star. If we thought the story closed, it turns out that this is not really the case.

Recently, his ex-girlfriend posted new allegations against Huanfeng on Weibo again. According to her, he abused her verbally and physically, denied that he already had a girlfriend and threatened to poison everyone because Huang " Fenfen " Chen (the former coach of Suning) drank from his water. .

The reason was that Huanfeng said that the water he bought often disappeared, and one day he found that Fenfen had taken his bottle. He then allegedly sent her a threatening message saying:

"F*ck, my water disappeared. I turned around and noticed that Fenfen had my bottle on his desk. I always noticed my water disappearing for no reason... [...] I don't want to not talk about it, it's stupid. These things make me tired. I'll be honest with you, and if I buy rat poison. I'll wait until they fall asleep, I'll turn off the surveillance camera. , and I'm gonna put some rat poison in it. Poison these fucks. Pesticide can do the trick too."

Fenfen then replied to the player's ex-girlfriend with a photo of 10 bottles of water with the caption "No words" - a message he has since deleted.

These statements exploded the LPL community with a series of criticisms against the player. We are unable to affirm or refute these allegations, but the case seems serious whether it concerns accusations of child abuse or poisoning. It is hoped that officials will act and conduct an investigation to discern right from wrong – but above all to act accordingly.
