Genshin Impact still knows a flourishing success today, and MiHoYo keeps it underfoot to surprise its community over the years. The publisher has even "hidden" an entire element from the start of the game: the Dendro . This green magic, centered on the plant, has existed since day one in the game files, but is not yet affiliated with any playable character. Its arrival in the banners is therefore eagerly awaited by fans, who have recently had something to arouse their curiosity, since dataminers have extracted files of new elementary reactions linked to the dendro .
Intensification and growth?
As of this writing, the two new elemental dendro reactions do not have names in English. In Shakespeare's language, they are called "Intensified" and "overgrown" . The first, combined with Electro , drops an Electro particle and increases Dendro and Electro damage to the affected enemy for 7 seconds. The second combines with the Hydro element. It grows mushrooms, which can then explode when in contact with the Hydro element, and which therefore inflict Dendro damage in AOE.
Dataminings also indicate that Dendro should not, at first sight, synergize with Anemo , Cryo or Geo . Dendro therefore becomes the least synergizing of the existing Elements , which for the most part are able to combine with 5 or 6 of their divine equivalents to create elemental reactions.
Rather surprising for the element that symbolizes flora, especially since this meager array of interactions would make the Dendro a delicate element to manage when putting together a team.
3.0 in sight
According to some rumors, the dendro could see the light of day as a playable element from the implementation of update 3.0, which will induct Sumeru. However, radio silence on the possible dendro character to appear. There are a few characters in the lore that are related to this element, such as Baizhu , but there is no indication that they could become playable dendro paragons.
