During the announcement of Call of Duty: Vanguard, several rumors had naturally emerged, including one that had players happy. According to this famous rumor, the title of Sledgehammes Games was actually to host a hub , more precisely a HQ like in WWII , in which all players would find themselves out of the game.
In the latter, several activities were to be available there, such as the modification of its classes, but also and above all a shooting range . However, when the game was released last November, this HQ was the biggest absentee from the title...
But ! If the disappointment was there, it seems that it is only a bad memory since a leak has highlighted the introduction of this famous shooting range in the next title, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 .
The return of the shooting range in Modern Warfare 2?
This more than encouraging information comes to us from the well-known Call of Duty insider by the name of TheGhostofHope on Twitter . According to its publication dated April 29, 2022, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 should indeed welcome the return of the shooting range. Thanks to the latter, players will finally be able to test their weapons and classes again before heading out into the field.
According to his tweet, the players should therefore find the shooting range, but nothing indicates at the moment if we will have in addition to the latter the much appreciated hub and in its entirety. In addition, it may well be that we will also find it in the Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone 2 which was recently formalized and which should see the light of day in March 2023.
However, we remind you once again that this is a rumor and that nothing has been formalized by Infinity Ward. Nonetheless, TheGhostofHope has a proven track record when it comes to Call of Duty leaks.
Regarding Modern Warfare 2 , now that it has been made official, we should have its very first trailer in the coming days, with, we hope, the clear and sharp appearance of Ghost, one of the flagship characters of the game. Call of Duty license.
Before its officialization, the banner and the profile photo of the Twitter account of Infinity Ward, studio at the head of MW2, were indeed very dark, but thanks to the community of the license, we had discovered that behind these black images limit was actually hiding the Ghost Operator. We can therefore hope for his return in the next title.
