Did you dream of becoming a Pirate?
The video begins by giving the background and the objective of the game, to say the least very clearly: " You will begin your adventure as a nobody, but your goal will be to become the most infamous pirate who sails these waters ". You will therefore have to increase your " infamy " during the game, which generally corresponds to experience.
To do this, you will have access to more or less official contracts , you will have to explore the oceans and you will have the opportunity to plunder and hunt for treasures like any good pirate. Of course, the higher your infamy, the more new gameplay elements you will have access to. It also involves new gear for your ship that will only get bigger and heavier in terms of weaponry.
However the gameplay is not everything, we should not forget the personalization! You will therefore have access to various cosmetics over time in order to make your ship and your character unique. You will also unlock different types of weapon , so that beyond the purely aesthetic aspect, your style of play is also as personal as possible. Souls-like multiplayer should be possible. Like Elden Ring , you may have other players in your World who can either help you or turn against you. Distrust, then! Moreover, even in solo, do not neglect your crew. If the morale of your sailors becomes too low, beware of mutiny ...
Finally, the heart of the gameplay will of course be the naval battles . Boarding opposing ships will yield big rewards, dramatically increase your infamy, and have a big impact on your crew's morale. On the other hand in case of defeat... Watch your back.

Even though the video has since been deleted from Reddit, it has caused quite a stir on the internet seas. Enough for the echo to reach the publisher anyway! Officially postponed for “2022-2023” during the last communications before this one, the game could therefore well land on our consoles during this year . Hope is allowed!
