All good things must come to an end and Riot Games has ended the partnership between League of Legends and Prime Gaming that we have known until now. The developer will continue to be tied to Amazon, offering exciting rewards to players. However, starting this month, they will be a little less juicy. The main change concerns the number of Riot Points we will receive each month, which has gone from 650 to 350 . A measure which, even expected, disappointed the players.
All the changes to League of Legends Prime Gaming
As compensation for the 300 RP lost in the capsule, players will receive 5 Fantastic Essences per month. An amount that a large part of the community considered too low . It's true that up until now the rewards have been almost too good to be true, but the change has been pretty drastic. In total, the Prime Gaming capsules debuting this month will include:
- 350 RP
- 5 fantastic essences
- 1 random skin worth 1350 RP
- 200 essence of orange
- 5 champion shards
- 2 Eternals series 1 shards
- 30 day XP boost
When it comes to the content delivery schedule or any other potential changes, League of Legends players benefiting from Prime Gaming need not worry. Riot Games and Amazon will continue to provide content on the last days of each month, at least until January 2023. On this date, it is possible to change the content or the periodicity of the capsules again. However, there is no need to worry until then that any further reduction in the amount of RP.
It should be remembered that Fantasy Essences cannot be used in the new store to purchase rewards. These include exclusive skins that can only be obtained with this currency. However, prices start at 100 Fantastic Essence and you'll have to save up for months to get one only with Prime Gaming.
