2018 HCT set in Taipei
The competition will take place in the Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium, revealed down below. The venue will open each day at 9 AM and the broadcast will be on at 10 AM (local time).
Blizzard chose the Conquest format over the new Specialist one. Rise of Shadows will be playable in the tournament, that is why adaptation will be key to the players' success. This will be not only good for the competition, but also for the show!
Earn a spot in the Asia-Pacific qualifier
This is something new in these Worlds: in addition to the traditional Card Back offering, the attendees of the HCT in Tapei will earn a spot in the Asia-Pacific Masters Tour that will take place later in the year. Meanwhile, each day from April 25 to 28, 3 tournaments will take place in Taipei.
