Disney Dreamlight Valley update: Bugs, Switch crashes...

A big bugfix update has just been deployed on Disney Dreamlight Valley. In particular, it brings a better rate of obtaining dream shards, better optimization on the Nintendo Switch and corrections to many quests.

Disney Dreamlight Valley has been released since Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Unfortunately, a few bugs have marred the pleasure of the game, but Gameloft has been very responsive and is now offering a major patch update.

Much more Dream Shards now!

Make sure all your platforms have downloaded the update if you are using cross-play.

  • Each buried object (shiny hole) has a chance to spawn 1 or 2 Night Shards or 1 or 2 Dream Shards,
  • The rewards obtained by feeding critters have been changed: you will no longer get flowers but you can now receive dream shards more often,
  • By defeating Night Thorns, the coal drop has been reduced but the Dream Shard drop has been greatly increased.
