As in 2018, the Fire Festival should appear on Hearthstone during this Summer. The Outofcards website has updated some information that shows the existence of an exclusive Brawl match for the occasion, but also the presence of rather lucrative quests (Thanks to the Fire Lord!). Here is a summary of the datamining, subject to confirmation during the live release.
Fire Festival Quests
- Play 3 games - Reward: 200 golds
- Play 30 cards - Reward: 1 Booster Witchwood
- Play 3 Arms - Reward: 1 Booster the Rise of Shadows
- Play 5 Mecas - Reward: 1 Booster Boomsday Project
- Draw 50 cards - Reward: 1 Rise of Shadows Booster + 1 Rastakhan Games Booster
- Play 25 rounds - Reward: 1 Boomsday Project Booster + 1 Rise of Shadows Booster
Some other information
For the Brawl background, the Legion of E.V.I.L simply brings the city of Dalaran to Blackrock Mountain. This will be (if data mining is confirmed) a fast PvE mode. The players will play the role of the supervillains: Rafaam, Dr. Boom, Hagatha, Togwaggle or Lazul to face Geddon, Garr or Nefarian for example.
This exclusive Brawl mode should also allow players to recover an old card back, the one from Season 12 to be exact. Of course, it is Ragnaros' one that many recent players could not have had at the time. Can we hope to see some of the old card backs again in other events? Doubt is allowed.
