We sometimes have bad luck when we start a game of ARAM. We end up with a rotten League of Legends champion, but thank God, we have two reroll (which we use by crossing our fingers). And now we have two champions who are even worse than the first (we've all experienced this). We then have only one desire, dodge this part which does not look like any fun.
Of course, everyone wants a Lux, an ADC or an OP tank to collect as many kills as possible and be the MVP of the game, but do you really know who the best champions are in the Howling Abyss?
The mystery was solved by Riot Mortdog on Twitter. The top 10 champions (those with the best winrate) are, in decreasing order:
- Illaoi
- Janna
- Teemo
- Lux
- Maokai
- Volibear
- Urgot
- Ziggs
- Ashe
- Sona
You understood it: you need to stop rerolling Volibear. No real surprise concerning the other champions: Illaoi obviously comes first thanks to the power of its ultimate on a map as narrow as the Howling Abyss. Champions like Ziggs, Ashe, Sona, Lux — characters which are very easy to play in ARAM and with an unceasing poke — complete this tier list without even a surprise.
And inevitably, who says Tier List, also implies a "bronze" Tier List. Here are the champions who will lead you to lose:
- Qiyana
- Akali
- Rek'Sai
- Yuumi
- LeBlanc
- Jayce
- Bard
- Fiora
- Talon
- Poppy
Qiyana is not really to be taken into account as the champion is still recent, and few players know how to play it (not to mention the fact that there is no river on the map, which is rather disabling for the champion). As for the rest, if you are not an OTP, don't hesitate to reroll!
