King of Fighters XV announced with video at Evo 2019!

Evo 2019 certainly had some surprises in store — SNK officially confirmed the development of a new numbered episode of its flagship fighting game series, King of FIghters.

SNK made a series of announcements during Evo 2019, in particular with this announcement — made at full speed as they presented the next downloadable content for Samurai Shodown.

No further details were revealed, only a confirmation that the title is under development at the Japanese publisher.

While the series doesn't necessarily have the same resonance among the general public as Street FIghter or Super Smash Bros., KOF remains a flagship license in the fighting game genre, so this is exciting news for the scene.
