After 13 years of loyal service at Bungie as Creative Director, Marcus Lehto has moved on to new horizons, including the creation of his own video game studio in 2012, V1 Interactive. Since then, he has been rather discreet and took advantage of Gamescom 2019 to show his new game Disintegration. Under its artistic Destiny look, the game immerses us in the circuits of a kind of pilot robot at the controls of the Gravicycle (a larger Passereau) and you can give orders to a small troop on the ground while bringing support shots in order to repel enemies. The game is intended to be a mix of SPF and strategy.
The American magazine EDGE reported that Disintegration will happen 150 years in the future, at a time when the standard human preferred to move his consciousness in robotic bodies in order to survive a pandemic. As a result, a civil war then emerged in the distance, between the "natural" and the "integrated". Disintegration will make us play the role of an integrated person who will rebel against his peers because of the violence they cause.
Disintegration has no precise release date, except 2020. It is expected on PS4 and Xbox One (no details regarding a PC output). The game is developed by V1 Interactive and published by Private Division.
