The prestigious kingdom management license has been rebooted by Ubisoft, with a new game that should be released next year.

The Blue Byte choosen one, The Settlers, is a 26-year-old series that has had its ups and downs (especially with its Online episode). But Ubisoft has decided to reboot the series and announces The Settlers for 2020 at Gamescom 2019. The game should always be a kingdom management with production chains but also promise more consistent battles, as shown in the trailer.

The Settlers is developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft. No specific date is mentioned except 2020 and it will be released exclusively on PC.
