It was at the end of March, during Sony's State of Play, that we learned about Iron Man VR — the game that puts us in the shoes (and helmet) of Tony Stark.
Developed by Camouflaj in collaboration with Sony Worldwide Studios and Marvel Games, the title was announced for a 2019 release on PSVR.
The precise release date was finally revealed at New York Comic Con — the game will drop on February 28, 2020, with the standard edition of the game expected to cost $40.
This action game will allow you to play as the superhero through a story pitting Stark against the hacker Ava Starr — better known as the Ghost we saw in Ant-Man and the Wasp. The billionaire will have to face his past to 'save Stark Industries and the whole world'.
Pre-orders are now open on the Playstation Store, and will reward you with four armor decos (Original, Vintage, Silver Centurion and Ultraviolet) and a dynamic PS4 theme — not to mention one month's free trial for Marvel Unlimited so you can read the comics.
The Digital Deluxe edition will cost $49.99, and comes with four other armor decos (Golden Avenger, Black Centurion, Solar Radius and Stealthy), 12 Research Points to unlock weapons and other armor optimizations more quickly, a digital soundtrack and a special theme for PS4.
