It was confirmed a few hours ago by the Washington Post: famous LCS player Søren 'Bjergsen' Bjerg will continue his League of Legends journey alongside Team SoloMid!
The former midlaner of Copenhagen Wolves and Ninjas In Pyjamas — who left Europe in 2013 to join Team SoloMid — recently renewed its contract with the NA organization for two years.
Plenty of rumours were spreading about Bjergsen becoming a free agent, especially after the end of the 2019 LCS Summer Split — when Team SoloMid failed to qualify for the 2019 League of Legends World Championship.
However, that's not all: TSM CEO and founder Andy 'Reginald' Dinh offered him to become a part owner... and Bjergsen agreed to do it.
"TSM and I share the same values such as approach to competitive excellence and commitment to learning and growth. There were so many reasons that ultimately the decision to stay was an easy one,” Bjerg said.
Will Bjergsen manage to reconcile his midlaner and team-owner role? Well, the answer remains to be seen.
