Since Paradox Interactive became the owner of the role-playing game publishing company White Wolf Publishing in 2015, video game projects around the World of Darkness have flourished on all sides. 2019 PDXCON has allowed Bigben to provide some details on ongoing projects.
To begin with, the project, which for the time being was only known as Vampire: The Masquerade, inherits the Swansong subtitle and a release date for 2021. However, we do not yet know on which machines this narrative RPG will run. On the other hand, it is developed by Big Bad Wolf (The Council) and will tell us the story of three vampires from three clans of the Camarilla.
Before that, Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, Cyanide's action-RPG will also be published by Bigben in 2020 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, the RPG from Hardsuit Labs published by Paradox Interactive has just been postponed to the first quarter of 2020 without further details.
Finally, Vampire The Masquerade - Coteries of New York, the adventure game of Draw Distance (formerly iFun4all), has just been scheduled for December 4, 2019 on PC. It will also be released on Switch.
Since both digital and episodic formats are not convenient for everyone, Square Enix and Dontnod have also planned physical versions of their game.
Rockstar Games will release the much anticipated PC game in a few days. For the occasion, they published a demonstration trailer of the game in 4K/60 FPS to allow players to discover the improved graphics.
