After a new trailer and a press event revealing the release date of The Last of Us Part II appears to have been postponed a few more months — if we refer to sources from Kotaku.
it has been confirmed by Neil Druckmann on his Twitter account. The game will be released on May 29, 2020.
Initially scheduled for February, a delay to The Last of Us Part II means it avoids major releases scheduled for early 2020, such as Final Fantasy VII Remake, Watch Dogs 3 and Doom Eternal.
It should be noted that it also gives Naughty Dog even more time to polish the game — something which could be seen as great news.
