AOC plays League of Legends, and that's something we were incredibly surprised to discover.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, popularly known as 'AOC', is an American politician — widely known for her active presence on social media and especially on Twitter.
In 2018, she was elected as the US Representative for New York's 14th congressional district and became the first woman of the Democratic Socialists of America elected to serve in Congress. She's pretty famous for her Green New Deal proposal, as well as her fight for Medicare for all.
However, AOC is now more than a US politician: she is one of us.
AOC is a Summoner, and she just reached Silver IV.
It's not the first time we see her reaching to the gaming community: last January, she made an appearance on a charity live stream organized by Harris 'Hbomberguy' Brewis to raise money for Mermaids, a charity that supports transgender children.
Nevertheless, she's now not only connecting with gamers: by reaching Silver IV, she surely proved that she is one.
Why do we feel it's so incredible? First of all, because no other politician ever claimed such an achievement. Also, it probably requires miraculous time management to be able to play ranked while working as a US Representative.
Yiliang 'Doublelift' Peng as well as Travis Gafford immediately reacted to this.
What do you think of that? Would you watch such content? Would you enjoy it?
Because we're sure we would.
