Last November, EA Sports unveiled new cards under the "Road to the Final" category to fully utilise the newly-acquired UEFA Champions League and Europa League licenses. The Road to the Final has started on FUT 20, introducing new cards that evolve throughout the course of the two European competitions.
A first batch of blue and several orange cards were available in packs last week before the new wave of special edition cards arrived on Friday November 15th.

As with every new event on FUT, new SBCs and seasonal objectives are available to unlock other enhanced cards.

Here is how to unlock Mbabu through seasonal objectives:
- Score with 6 Wolfsburg players in 6 Squad Battles matches on minimum difficulty of Pro.
- Win 6 Rivals matches with 11 Bundesliga players.
- Make 6 decisive passes with defenders in Rivals.
- Make at least one decisive pass with a Swiss player in 3 Rivals wins.
- Score 10 goals in Rivals to earn Mbabu RTTF on loan.
Card Function
If nothing changes from previous RTTF releases, here is how these cards will evolve throughout the year.
All RTTF cards are presented with their standard statistics. Then the card is updated with its "current form" statistics with each success achieved by his team at different stages of the competition.
A player can receive up to seven improvements over the season:
UEFA Champions League updates
- Qualification to the knockout stage.
- Victory in the round of 16.
- Victory in the quarter-finals.
- Victory in the semi-finals.
- Victory in the finals.
UEFA Europa League
- Qualification to the knockout stage.
- Victory in the round of 16.

It is also important to note:
- Any player transferred to a club that does not compete in the two tournaments will no longer be updated.
- In the event of a third group place in the Champions League, the card becomes a Europa League card and its overall will not be upgraded by one point for qualifying to the knockout stage, but it may still receive further updates if its club goes further in the competition.
