Excepting the transfer window, the League of Legends off-season is certainly the most boring period of the year for all fans out there. No competition, no tournament, and we're just all starving for a show. Famous streamer Tyler1 certainly understood that and pledged to organize a funny and entertaining event.
For the third year in a row, the Tyler1 Championship Series is back!
Format
- Eight teams are competing to earn a $50,000 prize
- Players currently under LCS contracts are ineligible
- Teams will be selected based on the average LP of their five starting players
- All playoffs games will be played in a Bo3 format, the final will be played in a Bo5 format
- Playoffs games will be casted by various content creators
- The final will be casted by Tyler1
- All matches will be broadcasted from twitch.tv/loltyler1
- Deadline for applications: December 8, 7 PM PDT
