Descent of Dragons has finally arrived in Hearthstone and with it the new Invoke mechanic, the new Galakrond hero for E.V.I.L classes and side quests.
As part of it, we suggest revisiting an interesting decklist — the Pure Paladin. Here is the code, the list and the new cards required to play the deck, as well as some gameplay.
If protecting the weak and fighting against injustice are your thing, then this deck is made for you!
There's no neutral card in this deck, meaning you benefit from the bonus the two Lightforged cards give. Lightforged Zealot will equip you with a Truesilver Champion, while Lightforged Crusader will add five random Paladin cards to your hand.
This deck was significantly improved by the addition of Sky Claw, a card that comes in handy when reinforcing your other Mechs — Micromummy and Glow-Tron — and taking control of the board with the two boosted Microcopters.
With Galakrond's Awakening, Shotbot solidifies this mech pack with his Reborn effect. This Mechs pack will make you strong enough to handle the early game, then the Glowstone Technician will ensure a strong presence to help you deal with the mid and late game.
Sanctuary is also a very interesting addition, helping you to build a pretty strong board. Be careful though when facing too aggressive opponents, you'll have a lot of trouble getting your 3/6 back. Air Raid works very well with the Righteous Cause side quest, while allowing you to defend yourself effectively.
