The new Hearthstone expansion, Descent of Dragons, has just been announced and as usual, new expansion means new mechanics.
The new keyword is Invoke and works with the new alternative hero Galakrond. The latter (see below) will only be available for Rogue, Warrior, Shaman, Priest and Demonist.
There are three forms:
- The basic one available for the five classes of the E.V.I.L League
- A first improvement after having Invoked it twice: Galakrond the Wretched
- A second improvement after having Invoked it twice again: Azeroth's End
You will be able to improve the power of his battlecry with the keyword Invoke, present on many cards.

Note that Galakrond is an alternative hero and will work the same way as Boom. So there are new hero powers, and a little something new, that are activated every time you play a Invoke card.
