Descent of Dragons has been announced during BlizzCon 2019. It's the third Hearthstone expansion of the Year of the Dragon. Here is everything you need to know about this expansion, which is already available in game!

- A new keyword has been introduced: Invoke
- A new type of card has been introduced: Side quests
- A new hero is available: Deathwing
- A new card back is available: The Shattering
- A new game mode is available: Battlegrounds
- The solo mode will only be available in January 2020
- A new lackey has been introduced: the Draconian Lackey
- A new board has also been released.
The expansion also comes with 10 new legendary Dragon cards, including one for each Hearthstone class. New Dragon's Breath cards will be available in each class and will give bonuses if you have dragons in hand.

Following the announcement of Hearthstone next expansion at BlizzCon 2019, a lot of cards have already been revealed. While some of them will be slowly unveiled during the next few weeks, you can already check the ones we know!
New alternative hero
A new Warrior hero is available with the pre-purchases of the extension's boosters! Deathwing is available with the new extension.

New keyword
The new keyword introduced with Decent of Dragon is Invoke. It works with the new alternative hero Galakrond.

New card type: Sidequests
To fight Galakrond, invoked by the E.V.I.L League, the Adventurers now have access to side quests. Find all our information below. It was revealed with patch 16.0 and will add 35 new cards. Its release is scheduled for January 2020.

New lackey
As announced when the lackeys were first introduced, each extension has its own lackey. Descent of Dragons is no exception.
The new lackey is a Draconian Lackey and has the effect of discovering a Dragon.
New game mode
A new game mode is available on Hearthstone: Battlegrounds!
A new game mode called Battlegrounds will soon be available on Hearthstone. It was unveiled on November 1 at BlizzCon 2019 and will be available on November 5 in early access!
New solo mode
Not much information so far but we know that it is the final between the E.V.I.L League and the Explorers. It was revealed with patch 16.0 and will add 35 new cards. Its release is scheduled for January 2020.
