History
On September 13th, Seattle was revealed as a franchise city for the Call of Duty League alongside London and Chicago respectively.
On October 21st, the full starting line-up was announced alongside Nubzy, who will be the head coach for the team. Nine days later, the Seattle Surge branding was officially unveiled.
Towards the end of November, Pandur and Proto rounded off the team as substitutes.
Season 1
The 2020 season was one to forget for Seattle. Three-time world champion Karma retired from competition and with constant roster moves, the team never seemed to improve.
Seattle finished the regular season in 11th and were swept aside by the Paris Legion at the CDL Championship, finishing in last place.
Season 2
In a bid to avoid a repeat of last season, Gunless, Loony, and Prestinni have joined Octane for the Black Ops Cold War season.
It will be interesting to see whether Octane is the standout player for a second consecutive season or if his new teammates can keep up with him, making the Surge a relatively competitive team.
