Warzone is finally here! After seeing the official trailer drop on March 9th, it also revealed a new game mode that will accompany battle royale when it releases.
Here is a brief overview of what Warzone has in store for you!
Battle Royale
The objective of battle royale is pretty simple. Be the last team, or player, standing at the very end! Warzone games will contain 150 players, 50 more than Blackout.
Take down your opponents to earn Plunder which can be used to revive a fallen teammate, secure a killstreak and even a weapon drop where you can select one of ten custom loadouts that are fully equipped with attachments, perks and grenades!
Fulfil contracts for additional cash and XP bonuses as well as a look at where the safe zone will be moving ahead of the enemy players.
If you're taken down, you are certainly not out of the fight. You will be transported to the Gulag, where you will be entered into a 1v1 duel against another fallen player. Win the 1v1 and you are back in the game. Lose, you are still not out of the fight. Your teammate can still bring you back into the action for a small fee of $4500.
Plunder
The objective of Plunder is for you and your team to gather as much money as possible by taking down other teams, completing contracts, taking control of specific areas on the map and finding large stacks of cash scattered all across the map.
Players can secure their cash in two ways. One way is interacting with a helicopter pad which summons a helicopter to your position, allowing you deposit the money and the other way is to buy a Deposit Balloon from one of the various Buy Stations around the map. The balloon can only be used to deposit a minimum of $150K so select your method wisely!
The team that has deposited the most money at the end of 30 minutes is declared the winner.
