The bolt-action sniper can be obtained in the loot crates found all over the map but you won't be able to customise attachments or have access to any perks to give you some very useful benefits when engaging with an enemy.
Thanks to the Loadout Drop in Warzone, you have access to 10 pre-made loadouts complete with grenades, field upgrades and most importantly, weapon attachments!
In this guide, we will show you the best attachments to have on the AX-50.
Primary Weapon
The thermal scope makes it very easy to spot enemies that could be using trees to stay out of any lines of sight. The 9 round magazine is also useful, giving you two extra bullets to take down a target before having to reload.
- 32.0" Factory Barrel (Barrel)
- Merc Thermal Optic (Optic)
- Singuard Arms Assassin (Stock)
- Granulated Grip Tape (Rear Grip)
- 9 Round Mags (Ammunition
Secondary Weapon
The Grau 5.56 Assault Rifle has quickly become the AR of choice since its inclusion into the Warzone weapon pool. Ideal for medium-range engagements, its ease to control and low levels of recoil has made it a firm favourite among the Warzone community.
- Tempus 26.4" Archangel (Barrel)
- No Stock (Stock)
- Cronen Sniper Elite (Rear Grip)
- 60 Round Mags (Ammunition)
- Commando Foregrip (Underbarrel)
Perks & Grenades
Perks are an extremely important part of the Warzone metagame and it is very important that your loadouts are equipped with the best perks to suit your style of play.
- EOD (Perk 1)
- Overkill (Perk 2)
- Tracker (Perk 3)
EOD increases your resistance to explosives, allowing you to stay in the fight for longer even if you have been damaged by an enemy projectile. Overkill enables you to have two primary weapons in your loadout, ideal when using the AX-50 and Tracker gives you a glimpse of enemy footsteps, allowing you to track them or roughly gauge their whereabouts on the map.
Grenades
Selecting the correct utility for a Warzone game can sometimes be the difference between downing an opponent or an early trip to the Gulag. Here, we selected the frag grenade which can be cooked and thrown into a window to clear out any potential campers or it can be used in the late stages of a game to determine the location of the last remaining enemies.
The heartbeat sensor is our choice of Tactical Equipment as opposed to a smoke or a stun grenade. Using the sensor to spot any enemies in a nearby building or to see if there are any ahead of your position is perfect for allowing you to determine your next move in the game.
