Warzone's fourth season of the Black Ops Cold War era is well under way, and while players continue to progress through the Battle Pass, Call of Duty publisher Activision has released another High-Resolution Texture Pack for the battle royale. The texture pack began to appear for players on June 27th, which is available to download on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.
Downloading the texture pack is said to improve various visual elements of Warzone, including the detail of every available weapon in the ever-expanding arsenal and the roster of Operators. According to Activision, the texture pack is recommended for players who are using 1440p displays in order to play the game.

Warzone High-Resolution Texture Pack 5 Download Size
The texture pack is currently rolling out across all platforms and is approximately 7GB in size. The size of the download does not vary on each platform, meaning PC players will need exactly the same hard drive space as those playing on PlayStation and Xbox.
How To Download Warzone High-Resolution Texture Pack 5
Just like the four texture packs that have arrived in Warzone in previous months, the process of downloading the fifth texture pack is incredibly straightforward. For PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players, they will be prompted to download the texture pack as soon as they load into the game.
For those that don't receive the prompt and those on last-gen consoles that want to download the texture pack, enter Warzone's in-game options menu and select the 'Game Installs' tab. When selected, a list of all available texture packs to download will appear. Select Texture Pack 5 to begin the download.
Is It Worth Downloading?
Downloading Texture Pack 5 does yield significant improvements to the graphical performance of Warzone. With improved detail to weaponry, terrain, and surroundings on Verdansk and Rebirth Island, the battle royale looks infinitely smoother on high-resolution displays.
Considering that the download is under 10GB in size, it is certainly worth downloading to prevent those pesky birds from looking like enemy players dropping back into the action.
