Here is our complete guide to Wigglytuff, a rather nifty Supporter in Pokémon Unite. From best items to the right move choices, our build guide should help you dominate on the field of battle.

Pokémon Unite: Wigglytuff Build Guide

Wigglytuff can be a bit of a slippery character in Pokémon Unite, using its crowd control abilities to cause havoc with the enemy team. You can purchase it from the store for 8,000 Aeos Coins or 460 Aeos Gems.

Our guide helps you understand Wigglytuff's moveset and choose the best abilities as you level up, as well as suggest the best Held Items and Battle Items to equip.

You'll start battles as Jigglypuff, evolving into Wigglytuff at Level 4.

Wigglytuff: Item Choices

These are the items we recommend equipping on Wigglytuff before you head into battle.

Be mindful that you can equip up to three Held Items and one Battle Item. All stats are based on items being Level 1, without having been upgraded.

Held Items

Shell Bell

Sp. Atk +1.6
Move Cooldown 0%

When the Pokémon hits with a move, it recovers a minimum of 45 HP. The higher the Pokémon's Sp. Atk, the more HP it recovers.

Wise Glasses

Sp. Atk +10

Increases Sp. Atk by 3%.

Sp. Atk Specs

Sp. Atk +0.8

When the Pokémon scores a goal, its Sp. Atk increases by 8.

Battle Item

Potion

Cooldown: 30 seconds

Restores some of your Pokémon's HP.

Given Wigglytuff is less about supporting your team and more about disrupting the enemy, you don't necessarily need defensive items. Shell Bell will take care of the sustain, healing you as you land your moves, while Sp. Atk Specs and Wise Glasses will ramp up your capabilities.

Potion is useful for a little more sustain in a pinch.

Wigglytuff: Starting Attack

Pound

Cooldown: 5 seconds

Perform a continuous attack in front of you. When it hits, it can decrease the Pokémon's Defense and Speed.

Defense Curl isn't as useful early doors, as your team won't be instantly diving into battle. Pound is the more sensible choice, just in case there's an opportunity to pick off a lone enemy Pokémon. However, by the time skirmishes really start, you should have both.

Wigglytuff: Best Moves

With your role being more a disruptor than a shielder, unlike other Supporters, you'll want to take the two moves that aid that best. Double Slap is the best option for the R move, thanks to the move speed debuff.

While Rollout can be used for a sustained knock-up, Sing is arguably the more powerful move. It applies a move speed debuff, and if enemies linger in range (like in a team battle), they'll be put to sleep and have their Def and Sp. Def reduced too -- allowing your teammates to punish them.

Double Slap

Cooldown: 5 seconds

Has the user perform a combo attack in front of itself, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon and decreasing their movement speed for a short time when the attack hits.

Upgrade at Level 10: Increases the amount of attacks unleashed.

Sing

Cooldown: 10 seconds

Has the user sing, decreasing the movement speed of nearby opposing Pokémon for a short time. Opposing Pokémon that stay in the move's area of effect for a while are put to sleep for a short time which also decreases their Defense and Sp. Def.

Upgrade at Level 12: Increases the length of time that opposing Pokémon stay asleep.

Wigglytuff: Passive Ability

Cute Charm

When a Pokémon is hit by an opposing Pokémon's attack at close range, it makes that opposing Pokémon infatuated for a short time. Infatuated opposing Pokémon become enthralled and approach the infatuating Pokémon against their will. The effects of this ability have a cooldown and cannot trigger on the same opposing Pokémon in quick succession.
