Here is our complete guide to Gardevour, an elegant ranged Attacker in Pokémon Unite. From best items to the right move choices, our build guide should help you dominate on the field of battle.

Pokémon Unite: Gardevoir Build Guide

The 21st battler to join the Pokémon Unite roster, Gardevoir is an elegant ranged Attacker who can cause havoc with its Psychic-based attacks.

Our guide helps you understand Machamp's moveset and choose the best abilities as you level up, as well as suggest the best Held Items and Battle Items to equip.

You'll start the match as Ralts, evolving into Kirlia at Level 6 and Gardevoir at Level 10.

Gardevoir: Item Choices

These are the items we recommend equipping on Gardevoir before you head into battle.

Be mindful that you can equip up to three Held Items and one Battle Item. All stats are based on items being Level 1, without having been upgraded.

Held Items

Wise Glasses

Sp. Atk +10

Increases Sp. Atk by 7%.

Sp. Atk Specs

Sp. Atk +0.8

When the Pokémon scores a goal, its Sp. Atk increases by 8.

Shell Bell

Sp. Atk +1.6
Move Cooldown 0%

When the Pokémon hits with a move, it recovers a minimum of 45 HP. The higher the Pokémon's Sp. Atk, the more HP it recovers.

Battle Item

Eject Button

Cooldown: 55 seconds

Quickly moves your Pokémon in the designated direction.

This build assumes that Gardevoir will be Sp. Atk-based. From the look of its abilities, you'll want as much as possible, so the Sp. Atk Specs and Wise Glasses will do just that as you score goals. The Shell Bell allows for more sustain as you become more powerful.

Eject Button is the best choice for Attackers in general.

Gardevoir: Starting Attack

Confusion

Cooldown: 4.5 seconds

Attacks straight in the designated direction.

You generally want an offensive move at Level 1, so Confusion is the only choice for Gardevoir. You'll level up quickly enough to get Teleport anyway.

Gardevoir: Best Moves

This pairing assumes that you want to deal as much damage as possible, while being able to survive trades. Moonblast is ideal for that, pushing you out of harm's reach while damaging enemies in a cone and granting you a shield, while Psyshock is an instant-damage move.

However, Psychic can be a really powerful move in place of Moonblast, with the added AoE slow proving highly useful in zoning enemies.

Moonblast

Cooldown: 6 seconds

Has the user attack while moving back to create distance. When the move's blast hits, it deals damage to opposing Pokémon in a cone and leaves the opposing Pokémon closest to the user unable to act for a short time.

Upgrade: Also grants the user a shueld when this move is used.

Psyshock

Cooldown: 10 seconds

Attacks the designated location three times. This move's cooldown is reduced each time one of these attacks hits an opposing Pokémon.

Upgrade: Also increases the damage this move deals each time one of its attacks hits.

Gardevoir: Passive Ability

Synchronize

When an opponent inflicts decreased movement speed or a damage-over-time condition on the Pokémon, the same is inflicted on that opponent. This ability goes on cooldown after it's triggered.
