You'll need to complete this Fortnite challenge within one match for it to register, so be prepared to do some travelling!
The alien invasion is in full swing, and ultimately it's up to you to stop it one challenge at a time.
Find and equip the Alien Signal Detector
To complete this challenge, we suggest two recommended locations, Catty Corner and Misty Meadows. In both cases, the Detector is located in a crate on the floor.
- For Catty Corner, the Detector is not far from the gas station, near the road.
- For Misty Meadows, you will have to get close to the fountain on the main street.
Simply interact with the briefcase to collect and equip the Detector.
Disable Alien Billboards
Now you're going to have to move as fast as possible to an Alien Billboard. There is one in Catty Corner, and two in Misty Meadows.
To deactivate the Alien Billboards, all you need to do is get close to them. If you have properly equipped the Detector, deactivation should occur automatically.
In Misty Meadows you will find the first Billboard southeast of the the fountain. The second is found to the northwest, on the side of the mountain.
In Catty Corner, the notice board is just west of the gas station, where you picked up the Detector. The Billboard should be visible along the road.
As always, be mindful of enemy players and make sure you're properly armed for safety!
