With the release of Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker and the rework of the summoner the job has become way comfier to play. While the class used to be called one of the hardest to play because of the long rotation the class is now easier to play and many players decided to unleash their summons onto Eorzea.
Before you get your full scaled summons and wreak havoc on the battlefield with an oversized Titan you'll be fighting around with Egis and here's how you can change their look as you see fit.
How to change your egis and carbuncle look in FFXIV
First of all players will need to complete a special quest called "An Egi by Any Other Name" that is available directly from the Arcanist guild once you reached level 50 and progressed enough in the story.
Once that's done, you need to know the different skins available:
- Carbuncle
- Ruby Carbuncle
- Topaz Carbuncle
- Emerald Carbuncle
- Ifrit-Egi
- Titan-Egi
- Garuda-Egi
You can then use the command /petglamour "X" "X" to change your summon skin for another. This only works for the egis and carbuncle though.
In the end it looks like: /petglamour "Carbuncle" 'Topaz Carbuncle" for instance.
You can change de basic Carbuncle for everything listed before and the egis for any carbuncle but not an egi for another one.
